I have a love of the macabre. I think it goes along with my interest in the bizarre kink movement of the 50s but I’m not totally sure. It also was probably influenced by too many viewings of Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, two of the besterest films ever. either way i came across this kinda-brilliant blog today on Core77:

And on the topic of vinyl toys, I went to Kid Robot for the first time a few weeks back. The store is completely claustrophobic and I wanted to see everything in the display case right at my fingertips but of course it didn’t work that way. But I did get one of those new acid sweeties, Mr. Earth. out of all of the members of the series he is kind of the lamest, so it’s only fitting that I got it. But my sSmorkin’ Monger S&P Shakers more than make up for it. Good thing I never make it down to that area because I would stop off for a Kid Robot snack every day.
