Ah, I was surfing not too long ago, anxious to find out when Miss Badu was coming back with a new album. I even put all of her albums back on my iPod recently including “Mama’s Gun” which is probably my least favorite Badu album.
Here’s the new cover art…
it’s all…

Jessica sent me this…
She was annoyed with all of the type variations–from the poster to the opening of the trailer, to the use of Frutiger at the end which seems to match absolutely nothing. And I HATE Frutiger. It’s not Comic Sans, but I hate the cap “R” in it so much. I only know one answer to one of the questions and it has to do with the poster. I know that the poster is usually completely separate from the studio doing the trailers and so a lot of times one looks like a bad rip-off of the other. Generally the poster house knocks out dozens of slight variations and then it’s approved by the film studio, and perhaps those people don’t remember what they have already seen. I have no justification for the Trixie’ish typewriter type and the Frutiger though, especially when the poster looks like Helvetica 25 or 35. I guess inconsistency is the best way to have consistency.
PS: One other thing that completely annoys me to death is that all of the typewriter typefaces have HUGE wordspacing issues. If you use a typewriter your type isn’t three characters apart, it’s pretty consistently spaced to fit in nicely. And PSS: Another thing that annoys me to death is Gossip Girl and how the voiceover is supposed to be all Carrie Bradshaw/Sex and the City. It’s on in the background and making me angry as I type. Listen missy, I know SJP. I followed her tiny little ass across four streets on the Upper East Side, and you ma’am are no SJP.
Thoughts from the peanut gallery about Leopard? My single word review is meh.
