Sure, it’s all kinds of Saul Bass with the lettering and the simple graphic, but I guess that’s probably why I think it’s interesting. It’s good to lift an idea every once in a while to keep yourself relevant. I’m kind of sad they didn’t just use a perfectly airbrushed shot of Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s head instead. With some faux-metallic type of course.
This is a bit of a stretch, but this poster reminded me of The US of L.
It’s nice to see Shannyn Sossamon back in a film. I had a big crush on her before she hooked up with some random guy and got knocked up. Other than that she’s still pretty cute.

I’m not gonna lie, I have a HUGE crush on Shannyn Sossamon, and I enjoyed Wristcutters a lot lot.
Then again I enjoyed Beowulf a little so what the fuck do I know?
Comment by Cath CATH! November 25, 2007 @ 11:04 pmWe share our crush but I don’t think we can share a love for Beowulf. Maybe Jolie but I can’t stand the way it was produced to look all CGI. I know, that’s the whole meaning but still.
Comment by graymi November 26, 2007 @ 11:23 amI hated the CGI (had no one heard of the Uncanny Valley?) but felt that the story was sufficiently portrayed. I had very very very low hopes for the entire thing.
Comment by Cath CATH! November 26, 2007 @ 6:32 pmi was completely disinterested until i found out crispin glover is grendel. then i sort of cared, but still not enough to go see it. i heart crispin glover. i have a major soft spot for nerds and crispin glover’s george mcfly is classic and quintessential.
