i had no desire to see i,robot. in fact, i usually don't really care to see most of the movies he chooses to do. hollywood blockbusters aren't really my thing. i just like him from his fresh prince days, both the pop rapper and tv personality. but this looks interesting, though you're right about the less than stellar reviews. the one i read all the way through, says that the first hour or so shows off the post-apocalyptic manhattan, which is all i really care about. those few minutes of cillian murphy wandering around a deserted london was my favorite part of 28 days later. they also say the menacing creatures are not scary, which is fine. i don't like being scared. i actually knew very little about this movie except that you posted about it and then my loftmate told me she was fandango'ing imax tickets and told me i should go too, so i am.

I think my reason for hatred has to come from his goodie two-shoes (is that hyphenated?) act. And frankly I think Jada is a lesbian so I'm not sure why he is in that relationship. But anyways, that doesn't matter. As an actor he's had some decent films but I don't think he is an "it" actor. Then again I don't think very many people fall into that category, except maybe Johnny Depp. The only time I had respect for Big Willy was after seeing I, Robot where he said fuck every other word. Then he went and made some touchy feely movies and it was all over. My pet peeve about this movie is that it seems like they are going to show the monster again. I prefer my monster movies without the actual monster. Monsters should be heard and not seen.

i never really cared one way or another for will smith as a film actor, but he is a very handsome guy and he is aging quite well. i could be wrong, but i am not convinced he has a very broad range.

i loved juno, but i don't think it really requires theater treatment. is it really wrong that i have an ubercrush on michael cera, even though he's closer to half my age than my regular age? if you are only going to see one movie in the theater for the theater treatment, i don't think juno is the one.

FYI: I LOATHE Will Smith. He's no Chris Klein, but he's just one of those people that completely annoys me. I actually think I might choose Juno as my movie of the year since I missed Superbad in theaters. Plus this film hasn't really been getting stellar reviews.
