Curiosity killed this cat and so after wondering what the icon was going on with the CNN main page I finally figured it out.

Oh, lookie there it seems that the tiny little icon to the far right is a shirt! Now you can buy your favorite CNN headlines on a fancy custom shirt! That’s awesome. I mean who wouldn’t want to wear “gas scammers refill rentals with water” to their next party. Other popular varieties for today include “MTV, BET too XXX for some firms’ ads”, and “women spin atop escalator handrails”. For some reason the latter keeps reading as “strips” to me but I guess it’s the XXX hanging out right above it.

Whomever thought of this is a marketing genius and I can only hope they include the typos and wordos that always seem to plague CNN’s site. If only Anderson ran everything things would be so much better. Silver Fox to the rescue!

I’m not sure why I thought this should be my first post in like 10 years but it made me laugh.

Naked Cowboy calls for duel with blue M&M

New York’s famed Naked Cowboy has filed a lawsuit against Mars, claiming that the blue M&M is ripping off his act in an animated video running in Times Square. A snippet from the video shows the blue M&M dolled up in Western garb and playing a guitar—an act that the Naked Cowboy, aka Robert Burck, claims is too similar to his own. As the New York Post reports, Burck, 37, has filed suit, seeking $6 million-plus for trademark infringement and other claims. Burck says he initially thought the video was cool, but then realized Mars was leeching off his own success. “All I’ve got is my underwear,” he says. “It’s the most brilliant thing that’s ever been created from a marketing perspective. You can’t stop it.”
