Rarely does a company go backwards in a brand that they have spent years to establish. However, Mars is doing that with the Snickers bar returning to the Marathon bar.
Fortunately it will only be happening in Britain, but who knows if it kicks off here they might roll it out in the US. I’m not really offended by this move because Snickers is pretty far down my favorite chocolate bars list. It doesn’t satisfy me so much. I think in order the best candy bars are: 1. Hershey’s Dark, tied with Hershey’s with almonds; 2. Reese’s cups; 3. Skor bars; 4. Milky Way (sadly the Milky Way Lite was discontinued a few years ago and that is very unfortunate).
